Automatic update check: once a day the app quietly looks for a newer version. It never downloads or installs by itself; when a version is found it appears in the tray menu and in About. It can be turned off in Settings.
Changed
Default hotkeys: plain-text paste is now ⌘⌥V and translate is ⌘⌥T (the old ⌘⇧V and ⌘⇧T clashed with other apps). A saved binding that still equals the old default moves automatically; custom bindings are kept.
Release notes in the update dialog are formatted and shown in full.
Also included from 1.12.1
File Tray: drag a file to the top edge above the tray or press ⌃⌥F. It keeps references, not copies, and dragging out copies the file.
Mouse wheel direction can be reversed for a classic wheel (trackpad unchanged).
The license and trial status is the first line of the tray menu.
Known issues
Intermittent text corruption during automatic layout switching has been reported and is not resolved.
Dragging to the top edge, dragging files into and out of the tray, and the tray position next to the notch were not verified on a live screen before release.
Not notarized: this build is signed with a local identity and is meant for the Mac it was built for.
