Licensing: a 14-day trial with full functionality is issued per Mac by the RMS license server; a license key can be activated from the tray menu or About. License state is verified against a pinned server key and works offline within the signed lease.
In-app updates: "Check for updates" reads releases from the RMS update center, verifies the signed manifest and the archive checksum, and installs by replacing the app and relaunching, with automatic rollback if the new version does not stay running. The update must be signed with the same identity as the installed app.

Clipboard text entries can be edited with ⌘E, the context menu or the preview button.
The multilingual input bar handles ⌘V, converts and inserts the full text, opens near the mouse pointer, and its 16 languages can be enabled independently.
Clipboard encryption creates a Keychain key only when the key is confirmed missing and no encrypted history exists; failures never replace an existing key or fall back to plaintext.
Clipboard history sorts pinned items first; the most recently copied unpinned item is selected on open.
Layout switching: the brand token "rms" is protected from conversion, EN→RU can include a preceding standalone b/d/c/r/j/e as и/в/с/к/о/у when Accessibility confirms the text, Russian function words and "странно" are preserved, Double Shift waits for the second Shift release, manual conversion keeps trailing punctuation, and injected events are identified by marker.
Known issues
Intermittent text corruption during automatic layout switching has been reported and is not resolved.
Not notarized: this build is signed with a local identity and is meant for the Mac it was built for.
